Penshurst Primary School

WEEK 28 - Friday 26 April 2024

Once again, a busy week of learning has passed here at Penshurst.

During the Nursery Beep Beep day, we learnt all about road safety and actions that help us to Stop, Look and Listen.

In EYFS, Winnie the Pooh is crusading to save the bees! He has recruited our fabulous learners in Reception, who have been busy potting seeds ready to plant with their families at home. Don’t forget, you don’t necessarily need a garden – a window-box or pot would suffice.

Learners in KS2 have all been engaged in their reading on Reading Plus, and are keen to be the child who has the most words read! Thank you for any support with this at home.

Also this week, we held our annual PFA Bingo Night which helped to raise funds for the Year 2 trip to Woldies Lavender Farm (Ooh – another way to help our buzzy little friends!).

On Monday, 5AD will be attending MKM stadium for a day of core learning in a sports environment. We hope they have a wonderful day!

A polite reminder that smoking (including vaping) is not allowed anywhere on the school site. Thank you.

I hope you have a super weekend. I look forward to welcoming the learners back on Monday.
