Students in Year 7 – 13 will take part in a careers programme that helps them to understand their education, training, employment and other progression opportunities available to them.
The careers programme enables students to:
- Develop the skills needed to plan and manage their personal development and future career pathways
- Access impartial careers information, advice and guidance
- Learn from employers, employees, apprenticeship providers, colleges, sixth forms, universities and other training providers
- Participate in careers-related learning, workshops, employer encounters and workplace experience
- Create and maintain individual progression plans to support informed decision-making and future success
- Provide feedback and contribute ideas to help shape and improve the careers programme
The Careers Programme 2025/2026 can be found here.
In addition to the core content within the Careers Programme, Hessle High School is committed to offering further opportunities throughout the year to meet our contextual needs.
