Hessle High School

Information

At The Hessle Academy we are very proud of our school community and greatly value the communication and partnerships we have with our parents.

Our foremost attention is to the individual needs and aspirations of our children and young people. To help us do this we encourage parents to have an active and supporting role in their child's school life.

Throughout the year we aim to keep you informed of your child’s progress through parents evenings, progress reports and information sessions at key times. We will also keep you up-to-date with events and developments within the academy through our website, headteacher blog, Management Information System (desktop and App software) and many other forms of communication.

We have a very proactive Parents and Friends Association who involve themselves in the life of the school and our Parent Council who form an important consultation group for changes and reviews of new programmes across the organisation which have an impact on all members of the Academy community. If you would like to join one (or both) of these groups please contact the school office.

We welcome feedback from parents, so please do not hesitate to contact us should you have anything you wish to suggest or discuss.
